BAGGAGE POLICY
The airline allows all of its passengers to bring one carry-on bag and one small personal item with them on board as hand luggage. However, both the bag and the item must fulfill the size requirements which are at most 21.5 x 15.5 x 9.5 inches and 10 x 13 x 8 inches respectively. Also, the carry-on bag must weigh less than 22 lbs.
Concerning the Checked Baggage, Aer Lingus permits its passengers to purchase the baggage allowance and provides them four bag options to choose from; which are Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L) and Extra Large (XL). Passengers can check in one piece of baggage weighing up to 34 lb, 44 lb and 54 lb under S, M and L options respectively. In case of XL, 2 pieces of baggage having a combined weight of less than 88 lb can be checked in. The maximum linear dimensions of any piece of checked baggage must be 62 inches.
