BAGGAGE POLICY
Air India allows its passengers to bring one piece of hand baggage in the cabin of the aircraft, the total linear dimensions of which must be within 46 inches. Also, the weight of the carry-on bag must be less than 18 lbs.
In regard to the Checked Baggage, passengers traveling via Business Class and First Class are allowed to bring 2 pieces of luggage as long as the total dimensions and the weight of each piece are at most 62 inches and 70 lbs respectively. Economy Class passengers are also allowed to check in 2 pieces of checked baggage but each bag must weigh less than 50 lbs and the linear dimensions of both the pieces must not exceed 107 inches.
