Fly in the sky with the blue-green hummingbird which adorns the tail fin of each of the 17 airplanes that are owned by Caribbean Airlines. The flag carrier of Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Airlines is that airline which provides genuine Caribbean experience to all passengers via its in-flight services. More than 600 flights are operated on weekly basis by the air carrier to 22 destinations across the Caribbean, South and North America. Headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, the airline has its operational hub based out of Jamaica. Its motto "The Warmth of the Islands" is truly brought to life both on and off the aircraft by the team of diligent professionals employed with the Caribbean airline.
Each passenger is permitted to bring one carry-on bag and a personal item on all Caribbean Airlines flights. Both pieces of in-cabin baggage, however, must meet the size specifications which are maximum 22 x 14 x 9 inches and 13 x 17 x 6 inches for carry-on bag and personal item respectively. Also, the weight of the carry-on bag must not be more than 22 lbs in order to be allowed in the aircraft cabin.
The routes and fare types are the deciding factors for free baggage allowance that passengers may get under the Checked Baggage Policy. Nonetheless each piece of checked baggage must weigh less than 50 lb and have linear dimensions at most 62 inches in order to be accepted and sent via the hold of the aircraft.
