Airpoints, the frequent-flyer program of the airline, is reckoned the most valuable loyalty program in New Zealand because of its easy and transparent loyalty currency – Airpoints Dollars. More than 3,400 Air New Zealand flights are operated every week to 51 destinations across the globe, thanks to its fleet size of 116 aircraft and a diligent workforce of 12,500 personnel. Headquartered at the Wynyard Quarter, Auckland Airport serves as the main operational base for the air carrier.
