The regional airline of Air India, Alliance Air commenced its operations in the year 1996. BAGGAGE POLICY
The airline allows all its passengers to bring one piece of carry-on as well as one personal item with them in the cabin of the aircraft. The bag, however, must fulfill the weight and size specifications in order to be accepted. It must not weigh more than 11 lbs and have dimensions less than 16” H x 12” L x 6” W. The personal item must be able to fit under the passenger seat or in the overhead bin.
Pertaining to the Checked Baggage, both Economy Class passengers and Business Class ones are allowed to check in 2 pieces into the hold of the airplane. However, the maximum weight limit for each piece is 51 lbs in Economy and 71 lbs in Business Class. Also, no piece of in-hold luggage must exceed the linear dimensions of 62 inches.
