Founded in June 2006 in Salta, Andes Lineas Aereas is an Argentinean air carrier that has come a long way in 15 years. The airline operates regional and charter flights to several destinations, namely Bariloche, Buenos Aires, Comodoro Rivadavia, Jujuy, Puerto Madryn, and Jump. Aeroparque Jorge Newbery serves as the primary hub of the airline. Currently, the air carrier has a fleet of five Boeing aircraft. BAGGAGE POLICY
The air carrier allows all passengers traveling via Andes Lineas Aereas flights to bring one personal item in the aircraft cabin as long as it doesn’t weigh more than 7 pounds and has maximum dimensions of 14x16x8 inches. About hand baggage, passengers traveling on a specific fare are allowed to carry one piece that must weigh at most 11 pounds and have dimensions within 16x20x10 inches. The carry-on baggage has to be kept under the passenger seat in front of you.
As far as checked baggage is concerned, the air carrier doesn’t provide free baggage allowance. Passengers, however, can check the bags into the aircraft hold by paying the baggage fee. Each passenger is permitted to bring checked baggage carrying the maximum weight of 66 pounds and dimensions within 40x40 inches.
