China Airlines, the national carrier of Taiwan, came into existence in the year 1959. Headquartered at CAL Park of Dayuan District in Taoyuan City, the main hub of the airline is located at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Owing to its fleet size which contains 88 aircraft, the air carrier takes flight to about 160 destinations in 29 countries across the globe. The motto of the airline - "Journey with a caring smile" seems to be adequately in line with the in-flight hospitality rendered by its crew to the passengers. Owned by China Airlines Group, China Airlines has two subsidiaries, namely Mandarin Airlines and Tigerair Taiwan. Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, and Songshan in Taipei are the focus cities of the air carrier. So by any chance, if you're looking to fly to any of these cities, you should make your China Airlines reservation.
Regardless of their travel class, all passengers traveling via China Airlines flights are allowed to bring one cabin baggage and one personal item (which could be a handbag, camera, umbrella or laptop) with them in the airplane cabin. Concerning the cabin baggage, it must meet the weight and size requirements which are maximum 15 lbs and at most 22 x 14 x 9 inches respectively to be accepted as carry-on.
Pertaining to the Checked Baggage, passengers must keep the weight of their each piece of baggage less than 70 lbs so that no injury is caused to porters.
