Having commenced its operations in the year 1983, Druk Air has been successfully connecting Bhutanese people to the rest of the world from last 36 years. The flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bhutan has its headquarters at Nemeyzampa in Paro and thus, Paro International Airport serves as the main base for the airline. Owing to its fleet of 4 aircraft, the air carrier flies to 10 international and 4 domestic destinations. HappinesSMiles is the frequent flyer program of the airline which was launched to celebrate the philosophy of Gross National Happiness. Make your Druk Air reservations to know how it’s like to, metaphorically, fly having perched “On the wings of the dragon” – which happens to be the slogan of the air carrier.
BAGGAGE POLICY
Passengers traveling in all of the Druk Air flights are permitted to bring cabin baggage with them in addition to one personal article on board. The carry-on bag cannot weigh more than 11 lbs in Economy Class and 15 lbs in Business Class. Also, its dimensions must be less than 17 + 13 + 8 inches in order to be accepted in the aircraft cabin.

Economy Class travelers are also allowed to bring one piece of in-hold luggage but it must have weight less than 66 lbs.
