“Connecting you and the Caribbean” is the slogan of the air carrier and, rightly so because gallivanting around the Caribbean hasn’t been so easy were it not for InterCaribbean Airways. The Turks and Caicos Islands based airline was founded in 1991 by the name InterIsland Airways. With a fleet size of 14 aircraft, the air carrier operates scheduled flights on daily basis to serve 23 international cities in Haiti, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Puerto Rico. Headquartered at Providenciales in Caicos Islands, Providenciales International Airport serves as the main hub of the airline. Safety of its passengers has always been the top priority of the air carrier, come what may. So, book your interCaribbean tickets to fly without a worry.
BAGGAGE POLICY
Each of the passengers traveling in interCaribbean Airways flights is permitted to carry one piece of cabin baggage with him/her on board. However, all the pieces of carry-on must fulfill the weight and size requirements, which are at most 10 pounds and dimensions less than 9 inches in depth, 14 inches in height and 16 inches in length.
As far as the Checked Baggage is concerned, free baggage allowance is determined by the passenger’s fare class and the destination of itinerary. Passengers flying to/from USA can check in one piece of luggage at no additional cost into the hold of the airplane given the checked piece does not have weight more than 50 lbs and also, its dimensions are less than 62 linear inches.
