Having come into existence in 1987, Pacific Coastal Airlines is a Canadian air carrier which has its headquarters based out of Richmond in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Courtesy of its fleet size of 31 aircraft, the airline takes flight to and from 16 destinations and renders charter, scheduled and cargo services across British Columbia. Vancouver International Airport serves as the main operational hub for the air carrier while Port Hardy Airport is its secondary hub. Over 300 personnel employed with the Canadian airline strive to make flying fun & memorable and this is the reason that they leave no stone unturned to ensure that passengers have the best of travel experience. Not for nothing has the airline kept its tagline – “People friendly, People first.”
BAGGAGE POLICY
The airline permits all of its passengers traveling in Pacific Coastal Airlines flights to bring one piece of hand luggage as well as one personal article with them in the aircraft cabin. Each of these, however, must fulfill the size specifications, which are at most 9" x 15.5" x 21.5" for the piece of carry-on whereas 6" x 13" x 17" for the personal article. Also, none of the two articles can carry the weight more than 22 lbs.
Pertaining to the Checked Baggage, number of pieces that are allowed to check into the hold of the aircraft as free baggage allowance depend on passenger’s flight fare, travel class and destination of itinerary. Each piece of Checked Baggage, though, must have linear dimensions less than 62 inches and must carry weight at most 50 pounds.
