Surinam Airways, the flag carrier of Suriname, was established in 1953 and commenced its operations in 1955. With a fleet of 3 aircraft, the airline flies to/from 10 destinations across the world. BAGGAGE POLICY
The airline permits all passengers traveling in Surinam Airways flights to bring one piece of carry-on in addition to a personal item with them in the cabin of the aircraft. The carry-on piece, however, must fulfill the weight and size requirements, which are maximum 22 lbs and at most 45 linear inches.
Regarding the Checked Baggage, passengers bound for Mid-Atlantic Routes are allowed to check-in baggage at no additional cost. Economy Class passengers are allowed to check-in 1 piece with weight up to 54 lbs into the aircraft hold whilst Business Class passengers are entitled to send 2 pieces with each weighing less than 70 lbs. Each piece of in-hold luggage must be within the linear dimensions of 62 inches. Also, passengers are permitted to check-in a Golf Bag, the weight of which must not exceed 50 lbs.
