Tunisair, the flag carrier of Tunisia, came into existence in October of 1948. Headquartered at Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia, Tunis–Carthage Airport serves as the chief operating hub for the air carrier. Owing to its fleet of 29 aircraft, the airline offers scheduled international services to 101 destinations across four continents. As many as 38 million passengers were transported by the air carrier in 2018. BAGGAGE POLICY

The airline allows its passengers to bring cabin baggage with them on board as long as it fulfills the weight and size requirements. Passengers traveling in Business Class can carry 2 pieces of luggage with total weight not more than 22 lbs while Economy Class travelers are entitled to bring one piece of carry-on weighing at most 18 lbs. The linear dimensions of each piece of hand luggage must be within 45.28 inches in order to be accepted.

About the Checked Baggage, passengers aboard Tunisair flights which are bound for USA are permitted to check luggage as per the piece concept. Business Class travelers can send 3 pieces into the hold of the aircraft while Economy Class ones can check-in 2 pieces. Each piece of in-hold luggage must weigh less than 51 lbs and have linear dimensions not exceeding 62 inches.
