Uzbekistan Airways came into existence in the year 1992. It is the flag carrier of Uzbekistan and has its headquarters based out of Tashkent in Uzbekistan. Tashkent International Airport serves as the chief operating base for the airline. BAGGAGE POLICY
The airline allows its passengers to carry one piece of hand luggage with them as long as it’s within permissible size, which is 22 x 18 x 10 inches. In addition to a carry-on bag, they’re also permitted to bring one personal item, which could be a pair of crunches, a handbag or a briefcase.
Regarding the Checked Baggage, passengers on board the Uzbekistan Airways flights bound for New York are entitled to check-in 2 pieces of luggage into the hold of the aircraft. The weight of each piece mustn’t exceed 71 lbs in Business Class and 51 lbs in Economy Class. Also, all pieces of check-in baggage must have linear dimensions at most 62 inches.
