Baggage Policy
Virgin Australia has a convenient baggage policy for passengers. It provides travelers with an option to bifurcate the carry-on baggage weight into two pieces, if required, along with every Virgin Australia flight ticket. However, the dimensions of any piece shall not exceed 18 X 13 X 9 inches and the weight should be less than 15 lbs. In case of one standard carry-on piece, the maximum weight allowed is same but the maximum dimensions should be 22 X 14 X 9 inches.
Passengers are also allowed to bring 2 pieces of checked baggage on international flights of the airline. The maximum weight allowed for each piece of baggage is 50 lbs in Economy class and Premium class while 70 lbs in Business class. The maximum linear dimensions allowed for checked baggage is 62 inches.
