Viva Air, founded in 2009, is a low-cost airline based out of Columbia. BAGGAGE POLICY
All the passengers with Viva Colombia tickets are entitled to bring cabin luggage with them on board at no additional cost. Passengers can carry a personal item (a bag or a purse) in addition to a piece of carry-on inside the cabin of the plane. The carry-on piece must weigh less than 26 lbs and have dimensions at most 22 x 18 x 10 inches whereas the personal item must have maximum weight of 22 lbs and its measurements should not exceed 16 x 14 x 10 inches.
About the Checked Baggage, passengers can send luggage weighing up to 44 lbs into the hold of the aircraft. Also, its linear dimensions must be within 62 inches. A baggage fee will be levied, though, on all pieces of in-hold luggage regardless of the flight route and travel class.
