About Xiamen Airlines

Incepted in the year 1984, Xiamen Air takes pride in being the first ever passenger airline company of China. With its headquarters based out of Xiamen in Fujian, Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, Fuzhou Changle International Airport and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport serve as the main hubs for the air carrier. Operating a staggering fleet of 167 aircraft, the airline has an extensive network of about 400 domestic as well as international routes. The airline flies to/from 70 destinations across China, Europe, Oceania, North America, and Southeast and Northeast Asia. 

BAGGAGE POLICY

All of the passengers traveling in Xiamen Air flights are allowed to bring carry-on baggage with them as per their travel class. Passengers flying in First Class are allowed to carry two pieces of hand luggage while passengers flying in Business Class and Economy Class are entitled to bring one piece of carry-on. Each piece, however, must weigh less than 11 lbs and have linear dimensions at most 45 inches.  

About the Checked Baggage, passengers flying in First Class can check-in 3 pieces of luggage with each weighing less than 70 lbs, passengers with Business Class Xiamen Air tickets can check-in 2 pieces with each having weight at most 70 lbs and Economy Class passengers can check-in 2 pieces with each carrying weight not more than 50 lbs into the hold of the aircraft. No piece of in-hold baggage must exceed the linear dimensions of 62 inches.
