Batalha Cinema Centre
One of the oldest and iconic cinema centers in Porto, Batalha Cinema Centre has been celebrating Portuguese Cinema since 1906. The center was revamped and reopened in 2022 after a decade of renovation. There are two projection rooms, one 40-square-meter film room, a multipurpose hall, a library and other facilities. You can enjoy classic and contemporary cinema featured here every day.
Jardins do Palacio de Cristal
A cluster of many small gardens, lined with fascinating sculptures and olive trees, fountains, and more, Jardins do Palacio de Cristal is a must-visit place in Proto. This botanical garden was built in the 19th century as a lush mosaic in the center of the city to give a panoramic view. You can also visit the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, the Romantic Museum of Quinta da Macieirinha, and the Palace.
